This was a destination wedding for these Texas familes and they chose a couple of great locations with the help of wedding coordinator Stephanie Beer of Covenant Coordinating. I was fortunate enough to photograph the rehearsal dinner in the cave at Bella Vineyards and then stayed over in lovely Healdsburg to photograph the wedding the next day at Landmark Vineyards. Mandy and her mother have such great taste and did a lovely job working with the other vendors to come up with a casual yet elegant look for both events. So very pretty!

Danny is the son of former wedding clients Rachel and Dan. I also had the pleasure of photographing Danny last summer at their home on the east coast when is was just a little tiny baby. He’s grown so much!

Oh how I love Tiffany blue and so does Jennifer. Just loved the freshness of this wedding. The Tiffany blue and white theme for a seaside wedding was so pretty. This was the first time I have photographed a wedding at the new Oceano Hotel in Half Moon Bay. Pretty place and loved the staff!
Location: Oceano Hotel
Flowers: Alena Jean Designs
Catering: Oceano Hotel

Such a darling little guy. Only seven days old when I photographed him! The concept for the adorable photo with the hat is actually from the site “Etsy”. I did not see a photo credit on there, but this is what mom had planned for our shoot and we did it, but I have to give credit where credit is due even though I shot it!

This series cracks me up with his proud but antsy big brothers….

It’s funny that I go through stages with locations and it just so happened that Baker Beach was involved with my last three e-sessions, BUT every one is just so different. Lighting is different, wardrobe is different and so are personalities. This e-session was shot the very next day after Rebekah and Drew’s, yet it’s so different. Each couple was in from out of town and ended up doing an extended e-session with two locations including Baker Beach but they are still very different.
We were so lucky when we shot this one. There were dolphins leaping around right off-shore! I was having such a great time and all the while exclaiming how much I love what I do! Better than an office any day (although I have plenty of that when I edit)!

Wow! Kate Moss or what? Gorgeous!

Cutest little rental car for their visit!

Had a hard time editing this series because I loved it so much….

Didn’t have a good lens with me for shooting wildlife, but like this shot of Micaela and George watching the dolphins.

We had a blast at our mid-day e-session! The skies threatened rain and it had poured the whole day before, but we got lucky and ended up having really dramatic clouds, but no rain. And Wow! Look at Rebekah’s legs! If I wear shoes like that will my legs look like that or does that take a lot of running? Hmmmm.

What a stylish couple and a fun wedding. It’s been a while since I shot a ceremony at St. Dominic’s in Pacific Heights because it’s been under renovation for so long. It still is, but enough on the sidelines that it’s barely noticeable. It’s such a gorgeous church. We had fun running around the city after the ceremony and then on to the Cliff House for the reception. What fun!

Glad I was around for this great moment….

My assistant Johanna took this lovely shot…

This may be one of my favorite shots ever. I think it’s hilarious….

When Tiffiny put on the aviator glasses and jacket I went into creative LOVE!

Brand new shiny ring…

So excited to be published again on Style me Pretty! I submitted this wedding that I shot a few years ago for their recent feature for fashion week. They didn’t use it for the fashion week spread, but published it on my Little Black Book blog. I shot Sarah and Matt’s wedding on 7/7/07. Sarah is still one of my most stylish and creative brides and I’m thrilled that her wedding is finally getting it’s proper due! Sarah has since started her own letterpress company called “Hearts and Anchors”! Have her design your wedding invitations and save-the-dates! She’s super creative!
Here’s a few screen captures from Style me Pretty. You can also view the whole feature on SMP: Style me Pretty – Sarah and Matt

This gorgeous wedding was held at St. John’s Presbyterian and The Ferry Building. What a beauty! Most of the family and guests were from out of town, so it was considered a destination wedding for all but the bride and groom and their Stanford gang! Thanks to Amy Nichols, Paula Le Duc Fine Catering and all of the other vendors for making it so beautiful!
