What a GORGEOUS winter wedding! I was blown away by Casa Real’s indoor ceremony site all lit up and cozy for a winter wedding. Really gorgeous. The vendors really did a great job of making this a warm and wonderful winter wedding and Tasha and George seemed to have a wonderful time! Thanks Tasha and George!

As always, it’s wonderful to photograph weddings at Marin Headlands Center for the Arts. It’s such an original location and even on a dark stormy day offers wonderful photo opps. I just loved this late fall wedding with warm touches of candles and heart-warming food. Svenja of Chestnut and Vine went over-the-top with the flowers and Katie Powers and crew turned out yet another perfect feast of locally grown and organic food. I had the special treat of seeing Rebecca (the site manager) who acted as day-of coordinator too! Didi and Tim and families also couldn’t have been nicer and all had a fabulous time!

The Half Moon Bay Golf Links ceremony location and staff are just great. I always love shooting there! Plus the bonus golf cart ride to the beach for the portrait session is such fun! We had perfect light for our near sunset portrait session and Sam and Jeff had a lot of fun getting away for a little while.

I love when I get requests from bloggers from overseas! That means they are keeping track of my work! This Italian blogger contacted me about a single floral shot and I was please to give them permission to publish!

I don’t usually post e-sessions while I’m up to my ears from the wedding season, but I had to post a few from this one because it’s a miracle we got anything at all from this session! I always tell clients that for e-sessions I shoot “rain or shine or fog” because with SF weather, I would have to be rescheduling constantly to wait for “good” weather, but I also always say “unless it’s POURING rain”. I called Brian and Austin at around 2:30 the afternoon of our e-session to say that I thought the weather was unusually bad and that we should probably reschedule, however, Austin had already gotten her hair and makeup done and I was already going to be near Baker Beach (our shoot destination) to shoot a rehearsal dinner, so we decided to meet anyway. I told them to bring an umbrella. When we arrived, the wind was WHIPPING and freezing off of the ocean and although it wasn’t a downpour, it was raining pretty hard. None of us wanted to get out of the cars! BUT I said, we’re here, let’s just shoot for five minutes and see what happens. SO these shots, plus lots more were truly taken within about five-ten minutes. My cameras were malfunctioning and soaked by the time the last few shots were taken and we were all freezing, but I think for five minutes of shooting we got some fun stuff!

PS – Of course the GG Bridge was nowhere to be found!

Wow! I didn’t even see this when it was published! Here’s another great feature on Style Me Pretty! Loved Kelly and Eddie’s “green” wedding at Headlands Center for the Arts. Sadie of “One Big Fish” a certified green planning company helped coordinate and Julia of Bloomies in Oakland did a great job incorporating flowers the couple grew in their won backyard into her floral designs for the day.

Excited to have another feature on Style Me Pretty today! Taylor and John’s classic San Francisco Ferry Building wedding was so pretty with all of it’s fresh blue and white features. Amy Nichols of Amy Nichols Special Events, Le Fleuriste and Paula LeDuc Fine Catering all did a wonderful job pulling it together!
