Gina is a Southern bride who is so genuinely sweet and on top of it, so gorgeous that I couldn’t stop photographing her all day! I loved the Southern hospitality throughout this entire wedding, and it’s always a great pleasure to work at Healdsburg Country Gardens. This was the second wedding I photographed with my broken foot. Thanks again to Gina and Matt for being so understanding and also to the very talented Regan Daniels for jumping in to help shoot. Congratulations, Gina and Matt!

What a fun Napa Valley e-session with Susan and Billy! They live in New York and are getting married soon in Napa Valley, and when they came in for a planning trip, we were able to do an e-session in wine country. Gorgeous weather and great light, and Susan and Billy were a blast to shoot too! Stay tuned for their Carneros Inn wedding!

This week, I received the exciting news that Wedding.com has published photos from Michelle and Elisa’s wedding! Michelle and Elisa’s wedding was special for many reasons, but I was especially touched by the couple’s ceremony. Michelle and Elisa incorporated the signing of their marriage license into their ceremony to demonstrate the importance of this event in our history as a nation. It was an emotional moment for everyone present, and it was even hard for me to hold it together behind the camera!
Please check out Wedding.com for the feature and more photos!

I’m always up for a challenge — and I knew I was up for a tough one when one of my recent bride’s, Andra, asked me to take some very formal portraits at her wedding. Each bride and each wedding is different, and I pride myself on being a photographer who can read and match your style. I pulled from my classic training, and I was so happy to take these photographs of Andra. I thought I would share a few with you today for a little something different!

I had the pleasure of photographing Kelly and Eddie’s beautiful, green wedding a little more than one year ago — and I recently photographed their son’s newborn pictures! Henry, their adorable baby boy, was born almost exactly a year after their wedding. So cute!
And here is a favorite photo from Kelly and Eddie’s wedding. To see even more, check out this post!

These vibrant bouquets are sure to brighten your Thursday! I just love the contrast of the fuchsia roses against the cool green orchids. Do you have a favorite wedding color combination?

Acts of service in weddings are wonderful. A hand-written thank you note or a donation to charity in lieu of favors are heartfelt gestures that can mean so much to guests. One of my favorite wedding-related acts of service happened at Nhi and Daniel’s Whidbey Island wedding — the couple handmade pizza for their guests to enjoy.
If you missed their intimate celebration, you can see it in this blog post. For now, I’ll leave you with a few pizza pictures that are sure to make your mouths water!
