Previous wedding clients of mine welcomed their baby girl Margot into the world a couple of weeks ago. Erin and Nick were married six years ago and I was fortunate enough to photograph their wedding at the Fairmont, San Francisco and St. Ignatius Church. It’s always fun to see former wedding clients as new parents. Margot is just the most petite little sweetie and I was thrilled to meet her and share in another intimate milestone of Erin and Nick’s lives!

I photographed Deborah and Kwong’s lovely Casa Real wedding a couple of years ago and just as we completed their wedding album, they welcomed Jayden into the world! It’s always an honor when former wedding clients welcome me into their home to capture another milestone in their lives. I was so happy to see Deborah and Kwong in their new roles in life and to see the ultimate outcome of their union!

My friend Angela knows about the importance of a good photography and I’m thrilled she likes my work enough to keep having me record, with photos, when her family grows. I most recently photographed Angela in a maternity shoot, along with her husband with their beautiful girl Miranda. She was pregnant with her son at the time, and we waited to do the family shoot a few months so that Lucas could hold up his head a little more and so that we could shoot outdoors. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot. Angela also gave her sister Erin the great gift of wedding photography and I flew to Kansas for that honor.

I just love doing a seven month series of shoots with parents-to-be. In this case, I photographed Elanne and Chris’ maternity shoot, Sylvie’s newborn shoot and her six month mark. I think it’s a GREAT way to record the process. Adding a nine month and one year shoot is even better! Enjoy a few photos from each shoot and watch the progression to Sylvie at 6 months!

I’ve been photographing these boys since the second was a baby. Lori called me last week in a pinch because the photos she tried taking of the boys for their holiday card didn’t turn out. We did a very quick, last minute shoot. She wanted a “barn” look and in a pinch I found these couple of fun locations in Oakland!

Welcome Sylvie!
You may recall a few weeks ago I posted a beautiful maternity session with Elanne and Chris. Well, here’s Sylvie! It’s an incredible thing to be photographing someone’s pregnancy and then just a few weeks later their precious new baby. Really, it’s the miracle of birth.

I had the pleasure of photographing Kelly and Eddie’s beautiful, green wedding a little more than one year ago — and I recently photographed their son’s newborn pictures! Henry, their adorable baby boy, was born almost exactly a year after their wedding. So cute!

I photographed Bridgett and Jim’s Chicago wedding years ago and have been thrilled to watch and photograph the family grow since the birth of their first daughter. I get a call every year from Bridgett to ask when my next visit to Chicago will be. Lucky my family is there and I’m there often. Their family has grown to two beautiful girls and now their darling boy, Burke, and this session is my most recent with them. I loved photographing Rowan as a newborn, both alone and with his proud big brothers. His mother, Teri, was smart to book a three-session package to capture his first year.
