Previous wedding clients of mine welcomed their baby girl Margot into the world a couple of weeks ago. Erin and Nick were married six years ago and I was fortunate enough to photograph their wedding at the Fairmont, San Francisco and St. Ignatius Church. It’s always fun to see former wedding clients as new parents. Margot is just the most petite little sweetie and I was thrilled to meet her and share in another intimate milestone of Erin and Nick’s lives!

And here are a few photos from Erin and Nick’s lovely wedding!

I photographed Deborah and Kwong’s lovely Casa Real wedding a couple of years ago and just as we completed their wedding album, they welcomed Jayden into the world! It’s always an honor when former wedding clients welcome me into their home to capture another milestone in their lives. I was so happy to see Deborah and Kwong in their new roles in life and to see the ultimate outcome of their union!

Here are a few photos from the couple’s beautiful vineyard wedding!

I just love doing a seven month series of shoots with parents-to-be. In this case, I photographed Elanne and Chris’ maternity shoot, Sylvie’s newborn shoot and her six month mark. I think it’s a GREAT way to record the process. Adding a nine month and one year shoot is even better! Enjoy a few photos from each shoot and watch the progression to Sylvie at 6 months!

Welcome Sylvie!
You may recall a few weeks ago I posted a beautiful maternity session with Elanne and Chris. Well, here’s Sylvie! It’s an incredible thing to be photographing someone’s pregnancy and then just a few weeks later their precious new baby. Really, it’s the miracle of birth.

Here are a few photos from Elanne and Chris’ maternity session. For even more photos, be sure to check out this blog post.

I’m always up for a challenge — and I knew I was up for a tough one when one of my recent bride’s, Andra, asked me to take some very formal portraits at her wedding. Each bride and each wedding is different, and I pride myself on being a photographer who can read and match your style. I pulled from my classic training, and I was so happy to take these photographs of Andra. I thought I would share a few with you today for a little something different!

I had the pleasure of photographing Kelly and Eddie’s beautiful, green wedding a little more than one year ago — and I recently photographed their son’s newborn pictures! Henry, their adorable baby boy, was born almost exactly a year after their wedding. So cute!

And here is a favorite photo from Kelly and Eddie’s wedding. To see even more, check out this post!

Who would think you could have a full-on Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony at home? When you have a mother of the bride who is a former film director — and who has great style and determination and a dear friend of the family who is a Greek Orthodox priest — it CAN be done!
Andra contacted me just a few weeks before her Sunday wedding and asked me if I thought I could do some formal portraits as well as photograph an outdoor backyard Greek Orthodox ceremony. With over nine years of experience shooting weddings, I knew I was up for the challenge. My tagline (if you will) is: Classic, beautiful, fresh. Your wedding. Your photography. This means a great deal to me and it should to you, too. Every wedding is different and every bride and groom have their own style. It’s important to find a photographer who can read and match your style. I feel that with my classic training in photography I can handle anything from formal portraits to casual candids and a photojournalistic style. Not everyone wants such formal photography as Andra and her mother did, but if they do, I’ve got them covered!

I couldn’t wait to share a few more images with you from Elanne and Chris’ recent maternity session. The couple was a real pleasure to work with, as they braved the cold to capture these beautiful images. Enjoy!

With the help of some extraordinarily talented vendors — including fashion designer Suzanne Hanley of Atelier Des Modistes, Kathleena Gorga of Conscious Beauty and florist Melissa Comito of A Simple Ceremony — we put together a couture fashion shoot inside the Swigg Suite of San Francisco’s Fairmont Hotel. And I’m excited to say that Style Unveiled has featured that shoot on their blog!

I wanted to share a little classic portraiture from last Sunday’s wedding. After I was booked for the wedding, my bride mentioned she had some photos she wanted to send for me to emulate. The photos were classic portraiture of Queen Victoria! Oh my! BUT, to my “tagline’s” point, “Classic, beautiful, fresh. Your wedding, your photography.” I was reminded that part of what sets me apart from other photographer’s is my classic training in photography. I received a four-year fine arts degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago over twenty years ago and have been shooting pictures even longer than that. Weddings for over nine years. When a curve-ball gets thrown at me and I need to shoot classic portraits from another era, I can handle it and true to my tagline, I really can morph my photography to match my client’s style. I only had about twenty minutes in a somewhat small and crowded hotel lobby to shoot and will share more soon, but wanted to share a couple of my faves and then I’m off to shoot my good friend Ann Hamilton’s (voted one of the top ten wedding photographer’s in the world!) wedding today! It’s also my three-year wedding anniversary today! Enjoy these photos!
