Kim and Ken held a warm, elegant wedding at Grace Episcopal Church in St. Helena, followed by a beautiful reception at Napa Valley’s Meadowood Resort. Their wedding was simply sweet — and it was featured today by Snippet and Ink!

Emilie is the catering director at the Fairmont San Francisco (one of my fave locations!) and she’s getting married! Newborn Photos: Welcome Margot!

Previous wedding clients of mine welcomed their baby girl Margot into the world a couple of weeks ago. Erin and Nick were married six years ago and I was fortunate enough to photograph their wedding at the Fairmont, San Francisco and St. Ignatius Church. It’s always fun to see former wedding clients as new parents. Margot is just the most petite little sweetie and I was thrilled to meet her and share in another intimate milestone of Erin and Nick’s lives!

Whenever I think of the quintessential summer wedding — with BBQ, checkered table cloths and bright blooms — I think of Mel and John’s Healdsburg Country Gardens wedding. I was so happy to find out that their wedding images have been featured again on I Do Venues! It’s the perfect time of year to gaze at these pictures and plan a summer wedding!

Kansas Wedding – Erin and Justin!

So pleased to share photos from Erin and Justin’s Kansas St. Patrick’s day wedding! (You got a sneak-peek of their wedding a couple weeks ago!) The location was Stony Point Hall in Lawrence, KS. Erin and Justin really lucked out with weather for their outdoor ceremony! It could have snowed, but luckily we had nice weather and an early spring. I found a lovely drive lined with blooming trees for their “first look” and a few portraits, and then we moved on to Stony Point Hall for some lovely “in the field” portraits and the rest of the festivities. Erin outdid herself by hand-making fabric-covered needlepoint rings. Loved the various patterned fabrics used throughout. Even some fabric roses in the bouquets, fabric tied napkin rings and fabric tied bouquet stems. Of course there were some St. Patrick day surprises, including dancing back down the aisle by the bridal party incorporating various St. Patrick’s day goodies! Congratulations Erin and Justin!

I photographed Deborah and Kwong’s lovely Casa Real wedding a couple of years ago and just as we completed their wedding album, they welcomed Jayden into the world! It’s always an honor when former wedding clients welcome me into their home to capture another milestone in their lives. I was so happy to see Deborah and Kwong in their new roles in life and to see the ultimate outcome of their union!
